Working in close collaboration with a specialist local developer, we have created a thoughtfully considered replacement housing scheme that transforms a single outdated dwelling into two individually crafted homes. Each property has been carefully designed to respond to the site’s rural character, drawing inspiration from the surrounding agricultural landscape and traditional building forms.

The development balances contemporary living with contextual sensitivity, integrating appropriate materials, proportions, and detailing to ensure the new homes sit harmoniously within their countryside setting. From concept through to planning, our design approach prioritised place-making, sustainability, and respect for the area’s architectural heritage, resulting in two bespoke residences that enhance both the site and its wider context.
